Como crear un ambiente saludable y seguro para que duerman los niños pequeños

En este entrenamiento usted aprenderá que puede hacer para reducir el riesgo de “MUERTE INFANTIL SÚBITA o MUERTE BLANCA’ en los bebés y otras causas de muerte infantil relacionadas con el sueño además de qué puede hacer usted como proveedora para ayudar a tomar noción de esta situación tan importante.
Anualmente en Estados Unidos hay alrededor de 3.500 Muertes Infantiles Súbitas.
Estas muertes suceden en niños menores de 1 año de edad y no hay muestras inmediatas o causas obvias.
Los tres tipos comunes de MUERTE INFANTIL SÚBITA reportados son:
* MUERTE INFANTIL SÚBITA: Alrededor de 1,500 bebés murieron en el 2013.
* Causa desconocida.
* Sofocación accidental y estrangulación en la cama.

How to Create a Safe Sleep Environment for Your Baby

In this training, find out what you can do to reduce a baby’s risk of SIDS and other sleep-related causes of infant death and what you can do as a caregiver to help increase the awareness of this important issue.

Each year in the United States, there are about 3,500 Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths (SUID). Fast Facts:(

These deaths occur among infants less than one year old and have no immediately obvious cause.  The three commonly reported types of SUID are SIDS, unknown causes and accidental suffocation and strangulation in bed.

This training meets the Child Care Services-Licensing requirement for safe sleep training.

CPR and First Aid Training

Injury Prevention and First Care is a pediatric first aid course for child care providers. This class offers emergency medical services for infants and children. The class covers burns, medication administration, child abuse, Shaken Baby Syndrome, SIDS and much more. The course meets all of the DHS requirements for CPR and first aid for child care providers.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Learn About Reaching for the Stars for Family Child Care Homes

Family Child Care providers – this training is just for you!  You’ve taken the DHS Inquiry Training on the details and paperwork for opening your own family child care home. Since that training, you’ve opened and you’re serving children and families.  Now you have time to consider Oklahoma’s Reaching for the Stars for Family Child Care Homes Quality Rating Improvement System. Come join us in the Rainbow Fleet training room to learn how the Stars program can help you and the children in your care. This is a basic training to expand on what you’ve learned from your licensing specialist and the DHS Inquiry Training.

There is no charge for this training.  Please reserve your spot by calling Rainbow Fleet at 405.521.1426 by Friday, Sept. 20, 2017.
